Did You Know: Elaine Aron is a regular visitor to New York state

Elaine Aron-- author of "The Highly Sensitive Person"-- is mostly associated with her practice in the San Francisco Bay area... which is by many regarded as the "birthplace" of the idea of "HSPs."

Elaine is actually a regular visitor to the Omega Institute in Rhinebeck, where she teaches a weekend workshop about high sensitivity, at least once a year. Elaine's workshops are well worth going to, if you're seriously interested in learning more about the HSP trait.

For more information, you can either visit the "events" page on her web site, or the Omega Institute's web site.

HSPs in the News: NYC's Ane Axford on CBS 2

"One of our own," New York City HSP therapist and workshop facilitator Ane Axford was recently part of a segment on CBS channel 2 news.

Whether we like the way the final editing ended up portraying high sensitivity, it's still a good thing to see awareness of the trait get airtime in the broader public spotlight. Ane is one of the pioneers in spreading awareness of high sensitivity.

Here's a link to the story. The video clip is about halfway down the page.

To learn more about Ane, you can visit her web site "Sensitive + Thriving."
